1) CALL TO ORDER:  Anthony Pretti (STAR240 president) called the meeting to
order at 7:15 PM at The American Barbeque, 5 Railroad Ave., Rowley, MA
01969.

2) ROLL CALL:  Scott Adams (Secretary) noted the attendance of the
following STAR240 members…

		 Anthony Pretti (President)
		 Bob Frye (Vice President)
		 Cheryl Frye
		 Pat Rosenheim (Sargeant at Arms)
		 Scott Adams (Secretary)
		 David Roberts (Road Captain)
		 Gidget Roberts (Ladies of Star Rep.)

	 absent:
		 Don Theberge (Alt. Secretary)
		 Arlene Rosenheim (Tin Star Rep.)

3) LAST MEETING’S MINUTES:  Scott Adams read the last meeting’s minutes
from February 8, 2004 and were so voted “approved” unanimously.

4) UPCOMING EVENTS:  Anthony Pretti  passed out flyers for the following
events…

		 “Moose Run” to be held May 15th, 2004 (hosted by STAR 196)
		 “The Roast on the East Coast” to be held July 9,10, & 11, 2004 (hosted by
STAR 196)
		 Updated STAR240 Calendar of Events.

5) MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT:  Contacts from at least four new members.  In
particular, Larry Carrol of Lynnfield, MA has joined STAR and looks forward
to attending our meetings and rides.  Scott will talk to Chris Ravin about
joining as well.

6) WELFARE OF THE CHAPTER:  Pat Rosenheim (Sergeant at Arms) got rear-ended
(again) in his convertible.

7) FINANCES:  The chapter discussed ways to raise revenues and to where
such monies should be spent.  Some costs for the chapter include stamps and
office supplies.  Bob Frye (Vice President) and Pat Rosenheim mentioned the
soliciting of advertisements on our chapter’s website to help defer the
costs of running the website, which costs $150 a year.  The website has
been paid for until August of 2005.  Several other ideas were discussed in
generating revenue such as raffles and dues.  Anthony Pretti mentioned that
Cycles128 has several small merchandise items that they are willing to
donate to our chapter for raffle prizes.  Also, information regarding
setting up a chapter bank account was deemed necessary.  The chapter will
continue to discuss these matters further in upcoming meetings.

8) ELECTIONS & APPOINTMENTS:  Anthony Pretti stated the chapter needs to
appoint a Shepherd and a Treasurer.  The former Treasurer has resigned as a
STAR240 member and Bob Frye said he would like to take on the roll.
Anthony Pretti said he would ask Don Theberge if he would like the
appointment.  Selection of a Treasurer will hopefully be made at the next
meeting.  It was agreed upon by the chapter the every member will be a
Shepherd.

9) REPORTS OF OFFICERS:  All ride waivers are up to date for the current
members.  The chapter discussed ride ideas for the upcoming season.  Pat
Rosenheim mentioned his “Twin Peaks” ride for NERIN which is being held on
June 13, 2004.  All members were encouraged to bring detailed ride ideas to
the next meeting.

10) ADJOURNMENT:  The meeting was finished at 8:15 PM.

parts. We are providing cooks, traffic directors (Parking) and
general cleanup after.  Basically no money on our part. We are
sharing the cost of two banners with both our names (Dealer and
Chapter 291), and we may not have to pay for that. It seems he needs
some bobcat work and a new Lawn. Hmmm? It looks like the dyno guy got
a little huffy and is out. Steve has another he is working on, again,
at his expense. So? It looks like a hell of an event, no cost to us,
and open to all bikes. Pass the word, May 22 from 10-2 with a ride
following. Motorsports International, rt20 Auburn.

Thanks to those who came to the SSB (Second Sunday Brunch).These
breakfasts allow us to shoot the breeze and get to know each other.
Leaves more time for riding when we do. LOL I did find the email
asking Mike to pick us up. I guess the address was wrong. So, it's
