Anthony, we would love to join you but unfortunately I am cooking for a
large family gathering for Thanksgiving and also having 2 of our 3
grandchildren spend that night and the next 2 with us. We will see you all

It's done !
National has set it all up.
The location will be official on Monday.
I will be taking the full week to ride to the event and back.
I hope all of us can make the trip, but understand that that isn't
reasonable.
Some of us will have other obligations.
The dates of the event are Tuesday the 20th of July to Friday the
23rd of July.
That gives us 3 days to ride down and two days back, if we go
Saturday to Saturday.
Let's hear from everyone, give your thoughts on Star Days 2004.
I am booking a room in the main hotel as soon as it is official, so
let me know if you have already decided to go.

    Tonto didn't even show up so the Lone Ranger had to ride into the
sunset by himself. O.K. it wasn't the Lone Ranger it was Deputy Dawg
and it wasn't the sunset. It was 10:30 and cloudy. At any rate,  I
headed down 20 to 12 and got on 16 in Webster. It was like I rented
the road, no traffic, clear sailing. I took 16 to Milford and jumped
on 140 and headed north to Boylston and Rt. 70 into Clinton to rt.62.
I stayed on 62 and went to Princeton and then to Mt. Wachusett. The
road is closed for the season so I couldn't go to the top. Got back on
140 and stopped at Redemtion Rock. The Indians traded a white woman
they captured in the King Philip's war in 1677 on that spot. I ended
back in Shrewsbury at the Lalajava coffee house on Rt. 9. sitting on
the outside deck with a coffee in my hand and the sun in my face,
life is good. Total ride 120 miles.
