Chris;

I can't make a ride on the 2nd as I have a wedding to attend...
...dammit!

I have planned a ride for the 9th...
...still working on it. I would like Laconia to join us for that one.
Foliage+Kancamaugus=Fun!

Pam,
Do you want to plan a ride for the 23rd?

We have our brunch on the 30th.

November is still open.

Scott, Pam, Chris; please come up with some ideas for rides...

Thanks. I have some ideas and I have already suggested a few online...

I've heard it's a good time - still haven't made it to one yet this
year but definitely going tonight. Weather is supposed to be clear
and ~70 degrees.

We could meet at the Dunkin Donuts in Revere on Squire Rd. next to
Wendy's and Bob's Discount at 6 - 6:30. Kick stands up by 6:40 or so
(it starts @ 7:00 ends at 10:00). See the link below and click
on "bike night".

http://www.hardrock.com/locations/cafes/calendar.aspx?lc=BOST#

If you come down Route 1 South to the Revere off-ramp (might say
Revere Beach?) where the big Showcase Cinema is then take the 3rd
exit off the rotary you will pass the "Big Lou Rib House" on your
right (place we went recently with Dougie Blvd leading), go thru 2
traffic lights. You will come upon another rotary (You will see the
Wendy's & D&D on your left before the rotary - but have to go almost
360 degrees around the rotary to get on the other side). Oddly
enough, there are actually 2 D&D's directly across from each other -
we'll be at the one in between the Wendy's and Sunoco (which is
closed and under construction).

I'm thinking the best/quickest route to the Hard Rock would be to go
over the bridge and take the Storrow Drive exit. That's the only way
I know - but haven't researched it any further. From their website:

93 N/S to Storrow Drive West to Copley Square exit. Right on Beacon
Street then the second left on Clarendon. Hard Rock is located seven
blocks down on the left.

Anyone have a better route ?

Hope you can make it and anyone else that wants to come - the more
the merrier !!!!

I lost my brother earlier in the year to the same disease.

Be well my friend, and ride safe & often.

I pulled the plug on something that could have been a really good thing. The attempt was to unite the chapters, and have a single calendar for all of the region to use. Too bad. The next thing I'm doing, is to remove all none paid, none members of our chapter. That is also, too bad. It will be emails only, from the outside. I really hate to do this, but, it is a must.

Oh! slow down, I think we all need to take a deep breath. I think we should all try this out, what the hurry!   I like the idea of a global site for all of us. If I can do it  you can do it, we all can do it.  Remember my favorite tool is a hammer, we should all try to make this work. First imperession are not a good bet most of the time.
I know we should take what each and everyone may have said about yahoo site with a grain of salt. I would think we are all used to change by know, hay is not that what Life is all about. Please! let's not move to quick on this, let's all give it time. What do you think ?

Sounds good Pat. A few of us had already mentioned this ride and seems like most were interested in doing it. I really had a blast last year and would love to do it again. There's a outside chance I may be away that weekend though for some Drag racing down in Jersey...
If I don't go to N.J., would love to do this ride as a group after the brunch.

Are you serious?
You didn't see Doug's post about this earlier in the week?
I thought you even had respounded to it.
I don't know, maybe I am the only one who sees the confusion in these multi forum, email jumbles and disregarded postings.

Bill H at parkway cycles has asked for our support of a Parkway
sponsored event- A pre Halloween/witch party. I hope we can maybe
make this our brunch. Bill has helped out a lot of our members,
including myself. I think it would be a great recruiting tool as
well. Hope we can all make it. I will post more details this week.
If anyone wants to contact BILL directly - billh@parkaycycles.com
